Tonight the scouts got together to celebrate the holidays by making cards for our local seniors, collecting toys for underprivileged children, exchanging gifts, and enjoying a little treat at the end.
Cub Scout Pack 66 took to the ice arena to root for the Middletown Titans. It was a great game with a penalty shootout for the finale. Our scouts played a prominent part in the entertainment as well. Check out some of the pictures as well as videos from the outing!
The scouts explored Huber Woods!
We had a great turnout today with our guided hike at Cheesequake. A big shout out to Ranger Jimmy who lead the hike on the read trail and taught us a lot about the different species of trees as well as a little about the animals who live in the park.
The scouts had a great time decorating pumpkins, then going on our private Trunk or Treat. The parents did an amazing job putting together the cars and the costumes were awesome!
Although it was a little chilly over night, the first fall camping we have had in over 3 years was a blast. For those of you who missed it, don’t worry, we will be camping in the spring. Meanwhile we would love to share a little slice of what we did:
