The Borough of Matawan has generously granted us access to a room in the Matawan Municipal building. The entrance to the new scout room is on Church Street across from Orchard Street.

Our leaders (and some of our scouts) spent hours cleaning and organizing our new room. The scout room has been updated with new chairs, new scout oath and scout law posters, and plenty of space for scouts and parents to participate in den meetings

We capped off our 2022-2023 scouting season with our annual pack picnic. Not only did everyone leave stuffed, but the Cubmaster got a double helping of pie (to the face). Check out some of the fun:

Every year, our wolves and bears put on the pack carnival. This year was another great one with a bunch of inventive games all created by scouts. Check it out:

Not even torrential rains could keep Pack 66 from camping this weekend! A brave set of scouts hunkered down through the rain and were rewarded with Gaga, BB gun shooting, a hike, and of course, s’mores.

Every year our scouts collect food for the local food pantry. They learn that hunger is not only a problem in November and December when many food drives occur, but a year long issue.

These young whippersnappers, they have no idea how great they have it! In fact technology back in my day… Our scouts spent the afternoon exploring InfoAge, an interactive museum of technology.

Today was an easy hike around Thompson Park. The weather was beautiful after a day of rain!

It’s time to hike again and even though it was pretty chilly, that didn’t keep our scouts from the outdoors.
